The Tony Award-winning musical Hadestown has revealed new casting for its West End production currently playing at the Lyric Theatre.
Joining the show is West End legend Rachel Tucker (Come From Away, Wicked, Sunset Boulevard) as Persephone and Trevor Dion Nicholas (Aladdin, Hamilton, Next to Normal) as Hades. They will take over from current stars Gloria Ontiri and Zachary James. They are set to join the show from 15 October 2024.
The current London cast stars Dylan Wood, making his West End debut as Orpheus, with Madeline Charlemagne, previously playing one of the Fates, now in the role of Eurydice. Melanie La Barrie plays Hermes, and Francessca Daniella-Baker, Bella Brown, and Allie Daniel play the 3 Fates.
The company is completed by Lauren Azania, Tiago Dhondt Bamberger, Beth Hinton-Lever, Waylon Jacobs, and Christopher Short as the Workers, with Lucinda Buckley, Winny Herbert, Ryesha Higgs, Miriam Nyarko, and Simon Oskarsson as swings.
