Leslie Odom Jr is making his West End Debut this summer in the role he originated on Broadway. Odom Jr. played Aaron Burr and is reprising this role for London audiences.
Odom Jr. made the following remarks regarding this news:
“Returning to Hamilton and revisiting the role of Aaron Burr with the growth and perspective of time has been a profoundly healing artistic experience. I am having so much fun! I am thankful to Cameron Mackintosh and Jeffrey Seller for the invitation to make my West End debut with this fabulous company.
“The London production will grant me a few more glorious weeks to share Lin-Manuel’s music with an international audience who, I have learned, love this show as much, if not more, than I. I’m crossing the ocean and I just can’t wait.”
Leslie Odom Jr is an American actor, singer and song writer. He became a big name in the industry following his role in Hamilton which lead to his earning of a Tony and Grammy Award. He’s enjoyed a career which spans, stage, screen and audio. In fact, his debut album placed No.1 on Billboard Jazz.
Priority booking for Odom’s engagement in Hamilton will be available to those who sign up via the show’s website directly before 12 noon on Wednesday 11th March 2026. Priority booking will open at 11am on Thursday 12th March, with general booking opening at 11am on Friday 13th March.
Leslie Odom Jr. will be performing from 3rd July to 5th September 2026 in Hamilton at The Victoria Palace Theatre.
