SIX the Musical is a modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII. The British musical comedy is in the style of a pop concert. It features a book, music, and lyrics by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. SIX will soon be celebrating six years in the West End.
The musical tells the story of his Six wives. The wives are Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr. The West End production has just announced a new set of queens that will be joining the show from 18 February 2025.
Joining the cast is Jaz Robinson as Catherine of Aragon, Thao Therese Nguyen continues in the role of Anne Boleyn, and Hana Stewart will take on the role of Jane Seymour. Dione Ward-Anderson will play Anna of Cleves again, with Caitlyn De Kuyper as Katherine Howard and Amelia Kinu Muus as Catherine Parr.
In addition joining the company is Leonor Correia as Alternate Seymour/ Howard, Honey Joseph as Alternate Aragon/ Cleves, and Odelia Dizel-Cubuca as Alternate Boleyn/ Parr. Moreover the SuperSwings will be Shakira Simpson, Laura Baxter and Meg Dixon-Brasil.

Furthermore it has also been announced that a filmed version of the West End show is coming to UK cinemas. It will hit the big screen on 6 April 2025. The film was captured at the Vaudeville Theatre with the original West End cast.
However the film version will star Jarnéia Richard-Noel as Catherine of Aragon, Millie O’Connell as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Aimie Atkinson as Katherine Howard, Alexia McIntosh as Anna of Cleves, and Maiya Quansah-Breed as Catherine Parr.
SIX first premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, where it was performed by students from Cambridge University. It then went on to premiere in the West End at the Arts Theatre in January 2019. Since then the show has embarked on a UK tour, transferred to Broadway and has been performed all over the world.
When developing the characters the writers based each of the queens on different pop stars. Catherine of Aragon is based on Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson. Anne Boleyn is modelled on Lily Allen and Avril Lavigne. Jane Seymour on Adele, Sia and Celine Dion combined. Additionally Anne of Cleves is based on Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. Katherine Howard is modelled on Ariana Grande and Britney Spears. Catherine Parr is based on Alicia Keys and Emeli Sande.
