Elf The Musical announced their full cast today. Real life married couple Joel Montague and Carrie Hope Fletcher will lead the production this Christmas.
The musical which is based on the hit film starring Will Ferrell. The story follows Buddy the elf. Buddy is an orphaned human child who crawled into santas sack one night and ends up being raised by elves. When he finds the truth behind his height and worse, that his birth father is on the Naughty list, he heads to the big apple to find his family. Montague (Hamilton) wil play Buddy the Elf alongside Fletcher (Les Miserables) as Jovie.
Joining the star studded Elf the musical cast is Aled Jones as Walter Hobbs. Rosanna Hyland (Back to the Future) will play Emily Hobbs with Lucinda Lawrence (Mamma Mia! The Party) as Deb. Also, there’s Dermot Canavan (Fiddler on the Roof) as the Store Manager, and Martyn Ellis (Wicked) as Santa/Mr Greenway.
The ensemble are Mollie Cleere (Mamma Mia! The Party), Farirayi Garaba (Mamma Mia!), Sophie Pourret (The Great Gatsby) and Lucy Rice (Clueless). As well as Biancha Szynal (Bring It On), Kyle Cox (& Juliet), Zack Guest (Moulin Rouge!), Ryan Jupp (Crazy For You), Dominic Lamb (Guys & Dolls), and Danny Nattrass (Brigadoon).
Completing the Elf the musical cast are swings Sophie Camble (Cinderella The Musical), Amy Punter (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical), Samuel John Humphreys (The Great Gatsby) and Michael Tyler (Mamma Mia!).
Elf The Musical opens for a limited run at The Aldwych Theatre on 28th October 2025.
