Celebrate Pride month with these Theatre Shows! This month is London, you can find many events celebrating and honouring the LGBTQIA+ be sure to fit a trip into the theatre this month for your celebrations. This is a select few to get you started.

Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots is the ultimate pride month theatre show! Its celebration of the queer community, their allies and of love and acceptance is truly touching. Not only is it based on an uplifting true story and the much-loved movie, the music and lyrics are by pop icon Cyndi Lauper! The story follows Charlie price who unexpectedly inherits his father’s failing shoe factory. However, a chance encounter with Lola and her angels may have the unlikeliest of solutions. Kinky Boots is strutting the catwalk at the London Coliseum. Can Lola and Charlie work together to reboot the business and save the day? Perhaps they just need to help each other, and everyone around them, to stand a little taller! Lastly, it stars none other than Strictly Come Dancings Johannes Radebe and X Factors Matt Cardle!

Titanique

Get on board the ship of dream girlfriends! This award winning comedy musical is a campy, quirky, laugh out loud show. It is a parody on the Titanic film. This version though is told through the eyes of none other than… Celine Dion!*(notactualcelinedion). Titanique is actually created and directed by RuPauls Drag race producer Tye Blue. Starring some of her biggest hits and with ad-libs and improv each night, every show is different! Also, from 6th June, you can catch the ultimate Diva, William Hanson, making his theatrical debut as he joins the show.

Titanique is playing at The Criterion Theatre until 3rd January 2027.

Oh, Mary!

Written by Queer Icon Cole Escola, Oh, Mary is a whacky one act comedy play. This Pride month, Theatre goers have the benefit of catching Catherine Tate in the show. She plays Mary Todd Lincoln, wife of the president. Mary has big dreams. Dreams of becoming a cabaret star, not that her stifling and closeted husband would understand a thing about that! This dark comedy takes place in the days running up to Marys husbands assassination.

Book for to watch Oh, Mary at The Trafalgar Theatre which has just extended until January 2027.

Cabaret is a heartbreaking story set in Berlins Cabaret clubs during the time of the Nazis rise to power. It’s based on a true story for Christopher Isherwood’s memoirs of his own time there. Inside the intimate and electrifying Kit Kat Club, Sally Bowles sings to forget. Cliff Bradshaw writes to remember. And the Emcee reminds us that life is beautiful… until it isn’t. With one of theatres most iconic scores by Kander and Ebb, come hear the music play!

Cabaret is now booking at the Kit Kat Club until 30th January 2027.
