The nominees for the annual WhatsOnStage awards have just been revealed and leading the way is the Bridge Theatre\u2019s revival of Guys & Dolls<\/strong>, which has received an outstanding 12 nominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie Lloyd\u2019s new interpretation of Andrew Lloyd Webber\u2019s classic musical Sunset Boulevard<\/strong> has managed to rack up 9 nominations including \u2018Best Musical Revival\u2019. The iconic musical is currently starring the sensational Nicole Scherzinger as Norma Desmond and has been nominated for \u2018Best Performer in a Musical\u2019 for her take on the character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunset Boulevard<\/strong> tickets are available now<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production is currently playing at the Savoy Theatre and is running until 6th<\/sup> January 2024 so Sunset Boulevard<\/strong> tickets are in high demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Theatre\u2019s smash-hit production of Dear England<\/strong> recently transferred to the West End has been nominated for 10 awards including \u2018Best New Play\u2019 and Joseph Fiennes has been nominated for \u2018Best Performer in a Play\u2019 for his portrayal of Gareth Southgate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directed by Rupert Goold and written by James Graham, Dear England<\/strong> is a gripping new stage epic that tells the story of both nation and game. Currently playing at the Prince Edward Theatre, Dear England<\/strong> theatre tickets are available now before the show closes on 13th<\/sup> January next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Produced by Sonia Friedman and Netflix, the new play Stranger Things: The First Shadow<\/a><\/strong> has been put up for 8 nominations. These include \u2018Best Lighting Design\u2019, \u2018Best Set Design\u2019, Best Graphic Design\u2019, \u2018Best Sound Design\u2019 and \u2018Best Video Design\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award-winning production of Cabaret<\/strong> has been nominated for 3 awards in the \u2018Best Takeover Performance\u2019 category. Mason Alexander Park, Rebecca Lucy Taylor and Aimee Lou Wood are all among the nominees. Cabaret <\/strong>is currently playing at the Kit Kat Club (Playhouse Theatre) and is one of the most unique and memorable shows on the West End. The Musicals that have made it into the \u2018Best New Musical<\/a>\u2019 category include The Time Traveller\u2019s Wife<\/strong>, Mrs Doubtfire<\/strong>, Operation Mincemeat<\/strong>, Newsies<\/strong>, Little Big Things<\/strong> and Next to Normal<\/strong> which is transferring to the West End next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shows nominated for \u2018Best West End Show\u2019 this year are as follows. Back to the Future the Musical <\/strong>at the Adelphi Theatre, Cabaret <\/strong>at the Kit Kat Club, Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/strong> at the Sondheim Theatre, Moulin Rouge<\/strong> at the Piccadilly Theatre, The Phantom of the Opera<\/strong> at His Majesty\u2019s Theatre and Six<\/strong> at the Vaudeville Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
