The Disney musical has been playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane since Summer 2021 and is set to close its doors on 8<sup>th<\/sup> September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The musical is adapted from the Oscar winning animated Disney film and following on from the screenplays success <strong>Frozen<\/strong> has also taken the West End by storm (no pun intended).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\/frozen-the-musical\"><strong>Frozen<\/strong> theatre tickets are on sale now<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frozen<\/strong> follows the story of Queen Elsa who can no longer control her special powers and plunges the land of Arendelle into an eternal winter. She then flees the kingdom in order to avoid causing any more damage. Her sister Anna goes on a mission to find Elsa and bring her back to save the kingdom. But is it too late? The sisters learn that only an act of true love can melt a frozen heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022 <strong>Frozen<\/strong> managed to win 7 WhatsOnStage awards including \u2018Best Direction\u2019, \u2018Best Choreography\u2019, \u2018Best Set Design\u2019 and \u2018Best Costume Design\u2019. We\u2019re not surprised after seeing that dress transformation!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The show features all of the much-loved songs from the film such as \u2018Do You Want to Build a Snowman?\u2019, \u2018Love is an Open Door\u2019 and the iconic \u2018Let It Go\u2019. The Oscar winning team behind the music of <strong>Frozen<\/strong>, Kristen Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez also wrote 12 new songs for the stage show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current cast of <strong>Frozen<\/strong> currently includes Jenna Lee-James as Elsa (Maternity cover), Laura Dawkes as Anna, Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff, Craig Sullivan as Olaf, Oliver Ormson as Hana, Richard Frame as Duke of Weselton and Mikayla Jade and Ashley Birchall as Sven.
