Before he can safely travel back to his time, he must make sure his teenage parents fall in love to save his own existence. Can he fix the present, escape the past and send himself\u2026 back to the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\/back-to-the-futurethe-musical\"><strong>Back to the Future musical<\/strong> tickets are on sale now<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Back to the Future: The Musical<\/strong> features a book by Bob Gale and music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy winner Glen Ballard. The musical also includes additional songs from the film such as \u2018The Power of Love\u2019 and \u2018Johnny B. Goode\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current cast of the show includes Cory English as&nbsp;<a><\/a>\u2018Doctor Emmett Brown\u2019 and&nbsp;Ben Joyce as \u2018Marty McFly\u2019, with Sarah Goggin as \u2018Lorraine Baines\u2019, Oliver Nicholas as \u2018George McFly\u2019, Jay Perry as \u2018Goldie Wilson\u2019, Jordan Pearson as \u2018Biff Tannen\u2019, Sophie Naglik as \u2018Jennifer Parker\u2019, Lee Ormsby as \u2018Strickland\u2019, Rhodri Watkins as \u2018Dave McFly\u2019, Patricia Wilkins as \u2018Linda McFly\u2019, Elliott Evans as Alternate \u2018Marty McFly\u2019 and Stephen Leask as Alternate \u2018Doctor Emmett Brown\u2019. Also in the cast are Ella Beaumont, Alexander Day, Reece Darlington-Delaire, Sia Dauda, Dylan Gordon-Jones, Helen Gulston, Matthew Ives, Connor Lewis, Adam Margilewski, Bryan Mottram, Laura Mullowney, Anna Murray, Samuel Nicholas, Louis Quinn, Zachkiel Smith, Grace Swaby-Moore, Georgia Tapp, Emily Woodford and Alexandra Wright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original movie the musical is based on and its two sequels were huge box office successes, taking in over $936 million at the box office. Workshops for the musical originally took place in London in the July of 2014 and then the following month in Los Angeles. The intention was to open the show in the West End in 2015, aligning with the 30<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the film. However, there was a delay in production and the show began previews in Manchester on 20<sup>th<\/sup> February 2020. The production played at the Manchester Opera House, directed by John Rando with choreography by Chris Bailey. Only a few days after the show\u2019s official opening the show closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\/back-to-the-futurethe-musical\">Back to the Future<\/a><\/strong> then transferred to the West End\u2019s Adelphi Theatre in September 2021 with the same cast and creative team. The production was nominated for 7 Olivier Awards that year, including \u2018Best New Musical\u2019, which it went on to win. The musical then opened on Broadway in June 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Back to the Future<\/strong> is the perfect musical for all the family to enjoy with brilliant special effects, catchy tunes and colourful costumes.
