Also joining the cast are Charlie Stemp (Crazy For You\/ Mary Poppins) as Bill Calhoun and Georgina Onuorah (The Wizard of Oz\/ Oklahoma) as Lois Lane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kiss Me, Kate&nbsp;<\/strong>tickets are on sale now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new production of the musical is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (The King and I\/ South Pacific) and features a company of over 50 including a full-scale orchestra. Kiss Me Kate features an array of Cole Porter classics such as Another Op\u2019nin\u2019, Another Show, Brush Up Your Shakespeare and Tom, Dick or Harry, and of course&nbsp;<strong>Kiss Me, Kate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kiss Me, Kate<\/strong>\u00a0follows the onstage and off-stage antics of a theatre company attempting to put on a musical adaptation of Shakespeare\u2019s The Taming of the Shrew. In a world of backstage chaos and romantic entanglement, Cole Porter\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Kiss Me, Kate<\/strong>\u00a0is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\">Broadway musical comedy<\/a>, mixed with Shakespeare and a sprinkle of Noises Off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the producer of the Barbican\u2019s previous shows, Anything Goes and A Strange Loop, this musical revival is set to be a hit this summer. Book your&nbsp;<strong>Kiss Me, Kate&nbsp;<\/strong>tickets now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>The Choir of Man New Cast Announced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/lsbo.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Choir-of-Man-New-Cast.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1668\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some new faces are set to join the gang at the best pub in the world!&nbsp;<strong>The Choir of Man<\/strong>&nbsp;has announced some new cast members that will join the show until 29th September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\/the-choir-of-man\"><strong>The Choir of Man\u00a0<\/strong>tickets are available now<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joining the choir of men are Sam Ebenezer (The Mousetrap\/ previous ensemble member) as The Poet, Sam Pope (Bat Out of Hell) as The Joker, and Olugbenga Adelekan (West End debut) as The Pub Bore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current cast members that are here to stay include Adam Bayjou (Les Mis\u00e9rables) as The Hard Man, Michele Maria Benvenuto (The Choir of Man -Norweigan Cruise Line) as The Maestro, Ben Goffe Hex) as The Handyman, Luke Conner Hall (Bat Out of Hell) as The Romantic, and Mark Irwin (The Commitments) as The Barman. Niall Woodson will continue as a Swing alongside new swings Se\u00e1n Keany (Once in Concert), Richard Lock (Original Beast in the West End), and Alex James Ellison (Fiver)&#8230; Also joining the cast from Australia will be Robert Godfrey (The Choir of Man at Sydney Opera House) as The Beast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The on-stage band consists of Emmanuel Nana Kwasi Bonsu on drums, Jack Hartigan on guitar, Darius Luke Thompson on violin, and Sam Tookey on bass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The multi-award-winning musical continues to play to a full house every night at the Arts Theatre.
