The smash-hit musical adaptation of the 2004 chick flick is transferring to the West End after a hugely successful run over on Broadway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\/mean-girls\"><strong>Mean Girls the Musical <\/strong>tickets<\/a> are on sale now.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the 2004 blockbuster film <strong>Mean Girls <\/strong>follows the story of Cady Heron, a student who relocates from the African savanna to a dangerous place called high school. There she encounters a clique known as the plastics ruled by Queen Bee Regina George. 20 years after the original release of the film <strong>Mean Girls <\/strong>continues its legacy with fans still quoting the iconic film daily.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mean Girls <\/strong>is set to star Charlie Burn (<em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em>) as Cady Heron, Georgina Castle (<em>Dirty Dancing, Elf the Musical<\/em>) as Regina George, El\u00e8na Gyasi (<em>SIX<\/em>) as Gretchen Wieners, and Grace Mouat (<em>SIX, The Great British Bake Off Musical<\/em>) as Karen Smith.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further casting includes Elena Skye (<em>Les Mis\u00e9rables, Kinky Boots<\/em>) as Janis Sarkisian and Tom Xander (<em>A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream, The Book of Mormon<\/em>) as Damian Hubbard. With Daniel Bravo (<em>Cruel Intentions, Witness for the Prosecution<\/em>) as Aaron Samuels and Lucca Chadwick Patel (<em>MAMMA MIA!, Legally Blonde<\/em>) as Kevin Ganatra, captain of \u2018The Mathletes\u2019 Ako Mitchell&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<em>The Sound of Music, Black Superhero<\/em>) as Principal Mr Duvall and Zo\u00eb Rainey (<em>Made in Dagenham, An American in Paris<\/em>) as Ms Norbury, Mrs George and Ms Heron.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cast is completed by Tia Antoine-Charles, Georgia Arron, Liam Buckland, Shonah Buwu, Baylie Carson, Freddie Clements, Siobhan Diffin, Cl\u00edona Flynn, Fergie Fraser, Angus Good, Jenny Huxley-Golden, Holly Liburd, Corey Mitchell, Mervin Noronha, Aharon Rayner, Tr\u00e9zel Sergeant, Josh Singleton, Annie Southall, Lillia Squires, Tommy Wade-Smith, and Holly Willock.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The musical is written by Tina Fey, who also wrote the gilm with music by acclaimed composer Jeff Richmond and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. Direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw, Set Design by Scott Pask, Costume Design by Katrna Lindsay, Lighting Design by Kenneth Posner and Sound Design by Brian Roman.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mean Girls <\/strong>had its world premiere in 2017 at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C and then opened in Broadway in April 2028 at the August Wilson Theatre.
