When it closed in 2014, the show was the 11<sup>th<\/sup> longest-running musical on the West End and is still the longest-running musical to play at The <strong>Dominion Theatre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jukebox Musical follows the journey of a group of bohemians in a dystopian future where everyone dresses, acts, and thinks in the same way. It follows them as they try to fight against the power to restore free thought and fashion in a world where even music is forbidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The show includes legendary hits such as \u2018Don\u2019t stop me now\u2019, \u2018Somebody to Love\u2019, \u2018Killer Queen\u2019, \u2018Another One Bites the dust\u2019, \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019 and of course the title song \u2018Don\u2019t Stop Me Now\u2019. With a brilliant book by Ben Elton, it has remained a fan favorite amongst theatergoers and will surely rock the house down in the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WE WILL ROCK YOU<\/strong> will open at The London Coliseum for a strictly limited run from 2 June 2023 to 27 August 2023. The cast and creative team are yet to be announced.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CRAZY FOR YOU transfers to the West End<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lsbo.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/crazy-for-you.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-264\" width=\"529\" height=\"537\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Susan Stroman\u2019s CRAZY FOR YOU will open at The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/theatre\/gillian-lynne-theatre-166-drury-ln-london-wc2b-5\">Gillian Lynne Theatre<\/a><\/strong> in June 2023 featuring a variety of songs by the great George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original West End production in 1993 won several Olivier Awards including \u2018Best New Musical\u2019 and the London revival in 2011 won \u2018Best Musical Revival\u2019. This production was first seen at The Chichester Festival earlier this year starring Charlie Stemp who will again be leading the show in London alongside Carly Anderson (Wicked) and Tom Edden (Cyrano de Bergerac).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This romantic musical-comedy follows Theatre-mad Bobby Child who is torn between his show-business dreams and running his family\u2019s bank. He heads to Deadrock, Nevada to foreclose on a theatre\u2019s mortgage but falls in love with the theatre owner\u2019s daughter, Polly. To save the town and win Polly\u2019s love, Bobby attempts to put on a razzle dazzle show to save the theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a book by Ken Ludwig, <strong>CRAZY FOR YOU<\/strong> features Gershwin melodies such as \u2018Someone To Watch Over Me\u2019, \u2018I Got Rhythm\u2019 and \u2018They Can\u2019t Take That Away From Me\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CRAZY FOR YOU<\/strong> will play a 30-week season from 24 June 2023 at The Gillian Theatre, further casting is yet to be announced. Keep an eye out for <strong>CRAZY FOR YOU TICKETS<\/strong>, don\u2019t miss your chance to see this brilliant musical in the summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LIFE OF PI to tour UK and Ireland in 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/lsbo.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/life-of-pi-title-treatment-large.jpg\" alt=\"life of pi tickets\" class=\"wp-image-265\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Winner of 5 Olivier Awards, the smash-hit play <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/play\/life-of-pi\">LIFE OF PI<\/a> is coming to an end on the West End on the 15 January 2023 after it\u2019s very successful run at The Wyndham\u2019s Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stage adaptation of Yann Martel\u2019s best-selling novel begins it\u2019s first ever tour of UK and Ireland in August 2023. It will start its tour at The <strong>Lyceum Theatre<\/strong> in Sheffield before touring round the rest of the country and Ireland and finishing the tour in Northampton in July 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lolita Chakrabarti\u2019s production has had huge success in London since it transferred from Sheffield in June 2020, winning Olivier Awards including \u2018Best New Play\u2019.
