Members of the original creative team have come together once again to put together this new reimagined production of the classic Disney musical. Featuring all of the music from the original score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Time Rice, including \u2018Belle\u2019, \u2018Gaston\u2019, \u2018Be our guest\u2019 and \u2018Beauty and the beast\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MY FAIR LADY<\/strong><\/strong>
The Lincoln Center Theater’s critically acclaimed, multi award-winning production of MY FAIR LADY<\/strong> comes to London in Summer 2022, the first major revival of Lerner & Loewes much loved musical for 21 years. Starring Amara Okereke as Eliza, Henry Haddon-Paton as Mr Higgins and stage legend Dame Vanessa Redgrave as Mrs Higgins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incredible score includes the classic My Fair Lady <\/em>songs I Could Have Danced All Night<\/em>, Get Me to the Church on Time<\/em>, Wouldn\u2019t It Be Loverly<\/em>, On the Street Where You Live<\/em>, The Rain in Spain<\/em>, and I\u2019ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This production of MY FAIR LADY<\/em><\/strong> premiered on Broadway in 2018, ran on Broadway for 15 months, and was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, winning a Tony for Best Costume Design.<\/p>\n\n\n

THE GLASS MENAGERIE<\/strong> <\/strong>
<\/strong>\u2018Memory is seated predominantly in the heart\u2019<\/strong> – Tennessee Williams<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams is set to make her West End debut in THE GLASS MENAGERIE<\/strong style=\"font-size: 17px;\"> at The Duke of York\u2019s theatre for a strictly limited season from 23 May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n

Known as the \u2018memory play\u2019 THE GLASS MENAGERIE<\/strong> premiered in 1944 and catapulted Williams from obscurity to fame. The play has strong autobiographical elements, featuring characters based on its author, his histrionic mother, and his mentally fragile sister.
The play is told through the eyes of Tom (Tom Glynn-Carney<\/strong> \u2013 The Ferryman, Dunkirk<\/em>) who tells the story of his emotionally vulnerable daughter, Laura (Lizzie Annis<\/strong> in her stage debut) and his obsessive mother Amanda Wingfield (Amy Adams).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amanda is devastated by her husband\u2019s abandonment and her attentions change to focus on the future security of her children. Years later, through the fractured prism of memory, Tom relives and reflects on the pressure that was placed on his sister to find a suitor and his own pursuit of freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE GLASS MENAGERIE <\/strong>would ultimately become one of Williams’ greatest works, <\/em>with future plays including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and A Streetcar Named Desire.<\/em> This ambitious reimagining of the classic play is set to encapsulate audiences from May 2022.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD<\/strong> is adapted by Aaron Sorkin, but based on Harper Lee\u2019s Pulitzer-winning novel. The play tells the story of young Scout and her father Atticus Finch, a lawyer tasked with defending a local, Tom Robinson, who is accused of rape. The novel explores justice and racial tension in a small Southern town, and is one of the best-selling novels of all-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
