The Almeida’s acclaimed production of The Years<\/strong> has just transferred to the West End. The play opened at the Harold Pinter Theatre<\/strong> this week and is running until 19 April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Years<\/strong> is based on Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux’s novel Les Ann\u00e9es, and adapted and directed by Eline Arbo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Years<\/strong> cast includes Debroash Findlay. Romola Garai, Gina McKee, Anjili Mohindra, and Harmony Rose-Bremner. Garai is starring in the show until 8 March and then further casting will be announced. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The understudies are Shira Abkin, Holly Georgia, Pamela Hardman, Adrien Spencer, and Sarah Waddell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Years<\/strong> features five different actors who bring one woman\u2019s personal and political story to life, set in post-war Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This production follow’s the plays previous run at the Almeida Theatre. During this run the play received a huge amount of give star reviews, from the Independent, Financial Times, The Stage and the Guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
