The show will play for a strictly limited eight-month run at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/theatre\/prince-edward-theatre-london\">Prince Edward Theatre<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2240\" height=\"1260\" src=\"https:\/\/lsbo.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Updated-Blog-images.jpg\" alt=\"Miss Saigon West End\" class=\"wp-image-4613\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This momentous return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/theatres\">West End<\/a> marks a decade since the musical was last seen in London. Interestingly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/theatre\/prince-edward-theatre-london\">The Prince Edward Theatre<\/a> was the previous home to this multi-award winning musical. This new production of the classic show is currently on a tour of UK and Ireland. It is a smash hit which is selling out and even returning to venues due to popular demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miss Saigon is set during the final days of the Vietnam War. The musical follows Kim, who is just 17 and forced to work in a Saigon bar run by the Engineer. She falls in love with an American GI and we follow their story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cameron Mackintosh is producing this revival. He believes this productions great reception from audiences is due to the production highlighting the musical\u2019s continued relevance. He added the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe set out to achieve this by moving away from the show\u2019s original operatic Madame Butterfly inspiration and instead refocusing on its gritty 1970s dramatic and musical roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe show, through its extraordinary score, retains its epic scale and emotional power. But now \u2013 50 years on from when our war-torn love story was set, during the Fall of Saigon \u2013 the plight and struggles of its innocent characters fighting for survival are more poignant and moving than ever in a world still beset by many conflicts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets for Miss Saigon in the West End will go on sale in March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full details of dates and casting are to be announced.
