Currently playing at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/theatre\/shaftesbury-theatre-london\">Shaftesbury Theatre<\/a>, it will now run until 3rd January 2027. The current production is marking the shows 20th Anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1350\" src=\"https:\/\/lsbo.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4798\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The West End cast of Avenue Q, \u00a9 Matt Crockett<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Written by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, with a book by Jeff Whitty,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsbo.co.uk\/musical\/-avenue-q\">Avenue Q<\/a>\u00a0follows Princeton, a recent college graduate who moves into a rundown New York apartment block and learns life lessons from his eccentric neighbours. This wild comedy uses Jim Hensen puppets although don&#8217;t let that fool you.
