ABOUT THE THEATRE
Cambridge Theatre dates back to 1929. The building itself is renowned for the elegance of its construction, the red interior design and the majestic chandeliers. A renovation took place in the 1950s to refurbish the décor but yet another restoration took place in 1987 to return the building to its original appearance. The London theatre changed purpose several times and it functioned as a cinema for a certain period of time. The Cambridge Theatre has hosted several controversial shows over the years, including Jerry Springer – The Opera.
Cambridge Theatre is located at 32 Earlham Street, London, WC2 9HU.
