ABOUT THE THEATRE
The current building opened in 1926. Rare thunder drum and lightning sheets, together with other early stage mechanisms, survive in the theatre. Notable productions include Stomp!, Ladykillers, The Duck House, The Importance of Being Ernest, Emilia, and Magic Goes Wrong. The hit musical SIX.
Since 2003, the theatre has been owned by Max Weitzenhoffer, and in 2005, the venue was brought under the management of Nimax Theatres Limited.

By Car
The nearest car parks are NCP at Upper St Martins Lane and Masterpark at Trafalgar Square
Tube
Charing Cross and Embankment stations are just a short 4 minute walk away. Charing Cross station is on the Northern line (between Embankment and Leicester Square) and the Bakerloo Line (between Piccadilly Circus and Embankment). Embankment station is on the Northern and Bakerloo lines (between Charing Cross and Waterloo) and Circle and District lines (between Westminster and Temple).
National Rail
The Vaudeville Theatre is easily accessible from most of the major National Rail London stations. Charing Cross is our nearest National Rail station and is just a 4 minute walk from the theatre. If you are arriving at one of our other major National Rail stations we recommend jumping on the tube for quick onward travel to the theatre. Get the Piccadilly line to Covent Garden (6 minute walk)for 3 stops from Kings Cross, the Northern line for 5 stops from Euston to Charing Cross, the Bakerloo line to Charing Cross for 2 stops from Waterloo or just seven stops on the Bakerloo line from Paddington to Charing Cross.
