THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE Returns to The West End
From the imagination of Neil Gaiman (Best-selling author of Good Omens, Coraline and The Sandman) the National Theatre’s smash-hit production of THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE is returning to the West End. The production opens at the Noel Coward Theatre in October this year and will run for a strictly limited seven-week season.
The story follows a man who returns to his childhood home and re-discovers the pond of the old Sussex farmhouse where he used to play as a child. He is then transported back to his 12th birthday when his friend Lettie claimed that it wasn’t a pond at all… but an ocean. They are then plunged into a magical world and are forced to protect themselves from ancient forces that threaten to destroy everything around them.
This spectacular adaptation by Joel Horwood has received over 60 5-star reviews and takes audiences on an epic journey to a childhood once forgotten.
THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE will play at the Noel Coward Theatre in London from the 11th of October 2023 to the 25th of November 2023.
