Rehearsal photos from the new production of Titanique have been released, take a look! The show will open in the West End next month and it sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Opening at the Criterion Theatre on 9 December this year, Titanique is a comedy musical. Based on the 1996 Oscar-winning film Titanic. The show combines the love story with the iconic music of Céline Dion, creating a hilariously funny musical.
The musical stars Darren Bennett (Grease) as Victor Garber / Luigi, Lauren Drew (Six, Legally Blonde) as Céline, Jordan Luke Gage (Bonnie & Clyde, & Juliet) as Cal, Stephen Guarino (I’m Dying Up Here, Eastsiders) as Ruth, Rob Houchen (Les Misérables, The Sound of Music) as Jack, Kat Ronney (Hex, Hamlet) as Rose, Charlotte Wakefield (Spring Awakening, The Great British Bake Off Musical) as Molly Brown and Layton Williams (Cabaret, Strictly Come Dancing) as the Iceberg (yes that’s right – the Iceberg).
Also in the company will be Freddie King (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), Adrianne Langley (Sixties Girls), Madison Swan (The Book of Mormon), Rodney Vubya (The Book of Mormon), and Kristina Walz (Titanique Off-Broadway).
Since the show first premiered in 2022, Titanique has had a very successful run off-Broadway and earned itself multiple awards. Moreover, the show most recently opened in Sydney to critical acclaim. Written by Tye Blue, Marla Midelle, and Constantine Rousouli, Titanique opens next month.
