The West End Evita Cast Album has been confirmed! This comes after much speculation online. Although the album is confirmed, its release date is still to be announced.

The album has already been recorded. The recording is live from a performance at the London Palladium. The new Evita cast album is a 10-track recording. It will be available digitally, on a white and blue marble vinyl and CD.

You can hear Rachel Zegler singing as the leading lady. Also on this album is Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che and James Olivas as Juan Perón. As well as Aaron Lee Lambert as Agustín Magaldi and Bella Brown as The Mistress.

This groundbreaking production of Evita is the latest from visionary director Jamie Lloyd. His combination of live recording and live theatre to elevate his productions has become a trade mark of his. He also brought the theatre to the people in this production as Zegler sings Don’t Cry For Me Argentina to the street below. This brought theatre to the common people, just like the true spirit of the musical.

The songs included in the new Evita Cast Recording are Oh What A Circus, Buenos Aires, I’d be Surprisingly Good for You, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, A New Argentina, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, High Flying Adored, Rainbow High, And The Money Kept Rollin In (And Out) and You Must Love Me.

Evita closes tomorrow at The London Palladium. Rachel Zegler is staying in the theatre for an extra day in her first ever solo concert. The evening performance sold out just 30 minutes after it went live!

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for when we can buy our own cast recording of this production.
