Catherine Tate is returning to the West End in Oh, Mary! This announcement comes as the show also announced they are extending.

Oh, Mary is currently playing at The Trafalgar Theatre. The smash hit boradway comedy is now extending until 18th July 2026. Mason Alexander Park is currently leading the cast as Mary Todd Lincoln. They will play their final performance on 25th April. After that, Catherine Tate will take the role on of Mary.

Also leaving the show soon is Giles Terera who plays Abe Lincoln, Mary’s Husband. His final performance is 14th March. From 16th March, Scott Karim will take over the role. The remaining current cast are staying through for the new extension.

Catherine Tate is well known as her career as a comic actress, most notably with her own sketch show. She was also an assistant in Dr. Who. Tate is also no stranger to the West End. She previously worked on the pantomime at The London Palladium, The Enfield Haunting and Much Ado About Nothing to name a few.

Oh, Mary! is an absurd comedy in which Abe Lincolns wife wishes to be a cabaret star. She is a bored alcoholic who feels trapped by her husband and is looking for a way out. Written by Cole Escola, this show took Broadway by storm before heading across the pond to us on the West End.

Oh, Mary! is now booking until 18th July 2026 at The Trafalgar Theatre. Catherine Tate begins performances on 25th April.
