Kinky Boots released the elegant rehearsal images today. The musical is opening at The London Coliseum for a limited engagement.

The show, which opens on 17th March, is starring Strictly’s Johannes Radebe as Lola. Also, X-Factor Winner Matt Cardle is playing Charlie Price.

Based on a true story this musical is strutting back into the West End. Not only has this true story been turned into a musical but it is also a hit film. Kinky Boots follows the story of Charlie Price who inherits his family’s failing shoe factory. At the time saving the family business (never mind his love life) seems like a tall order. However, one day he has a chance encounter with Drag Queen Lola. Their meeting offers the factory the most unlikely of answers to the businesses problems. Can they work together to reboot the business and save the day? Perhaps they just need to help each other – and everyone around them – to stand a little taller

The newly released Rehearsal shots show Johannes Radebe and Matt Cardle in action. You can also catch Courtney Bowman as Lauren, Liam McEvoy as Harry and Billie Kaye as Nicola. The remaiing cast are Tosh Wanogho-Maud as Alternate Lola, Billy Roberts as Don, Rachel Izen as Pat, Jessica Daley as Trish, Jonathan Dryden Taylor as Mr Price and Scott Paige as George. Completing the ensemble are Andy Barke, Kathryn Barnes, Cerys Burton, Kaya Farrugia, Nay-Nay, Keith Alexander, Nathan Daly, Kofi Dennis, Ru Fisher, Darnell Mathew-James, Liam McEvoy, Ashley-Jordon Packer, Cole Dunn, Annell Odartey, Jordan Isaac and Tori McDougall.
