Where do London Theatre shows take place?

Each show takes place in it’s own venue. Most of the theatres are in the West End. This is the area is where most of the theatres are concentrated between the Strand and Oxford Street (South – North respectively) and Kingsway and Regents Street (East and West Respectively). That being said, there are some West End Productions such as Wicked and Hamilton which play outside of the traditional West End in Victoria. When are London Theatre Performances?

Performances take place every day of the week. Each show will have at least one day off, usually Sunday or Monday. Therefore they are also the most quiet days. Because of this, we’d suggest Tuesdays – Thursday if you can be flexible in planning your trip to the theatre. Generally, all shows will be playing on these day and it also tends to have the most discounts available. No one wants to play to an empty house!
