The longest running comedy play in the West End also plays twice on a Sunday. Perfect for the Bank holiday right? What could possibly go wrong? Let’s try everything. The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society are trying their very best to stage a production of a 1920s murder mystery. As the show’s title might suggest, this is not as easy as it sounds with everything that can go wrong doing just that. Despite the setbacks, the actors of CPDS struggle bravely to reach the final curtain. Full of fast paced, witty verbal and slapstick comedy, this show is a great way to laugh away the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Hunger Games On Stage
The Troubadour Theatre Canary Wharf

The Hunger Games Tickets

This electrifying new play is a true cinematic theatre like something I had never experienced before. It also performs on Sundays.

Based on Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture film franchise, this is the first stage adaptation of this modern classic. Set in a dystopian world, the story follows the unlikely heroine, Katniss Everdeen. When her sister is chosen to fight to the death in an annual televised “games”, she volunteers in her stead. This act of kindness sparks a revolution against the Capitol and Katniss still has to fight for her survival. The theatre is purpose built so you set into an arena as you take your sets.

We have fantastic discounts for this show which you can book here. The show is in Canary Wharf London’s financial district. This modern development has plenty of places to grab food and stroll around the sleek part of the city.

The Hunger Games on Stage is currently booking until 25th October 2026 at The Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.
