The jukebox musical Titanique has announced casting for its upcoming West End production.

The musical is a parody of the 1997 film Titanic featuring the music of Céline Dion, with a book by Tye Blue, Marla Midelle, and Constantine Rouseouli. Titanique is a retelling of the movie’s events from the perspective of Dion herself.

The West End cast will star Lauren Drew (Legally Blonde, Six) as Céline, Rob Houchen (Les Misérables, Eugenious!) as Jack, Kat Ronney (Hex) as Rose, Jordan Luke Gage (Bonnie and Clyde, Romeo in & Juliet) as Cal and Layton Williams (Cabaret, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) as the Iceberg.

The full cast is completed by Darren Bennett (Singin’ in the Rain, Grease) as Victor Garber / Luigi, Stephen Guarino (Titanique in New York) as Ruth, Charlotte Wakefield (Spring Awakening, The Great British Bake Off Musical) as Molly Brown, Freddie King (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), Adrianne Langley (Sixties Girls), Madison Swan (The Book of Mormon), Rodney Vubya (The Book of Mormon) and Kristina Walz (Titanique in New York).

Titanique will open at the Criterion Theatre on 9 December 2024. Keep an eye out for further information!
