The new musical Clueless The Musical opens in London later this week. Take a look at these new promo shots for the production. They feature Emma Flynn as Cher Horowitz, the role made famous by Alicia Silverstone in the movie. The photos are by Matt Crockett.
Clueless The Musical opens at the Trafalgar Theatre on 15 February and is currently booking to 14 June 2025.
The musical features a musical score by award-winning singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, with lyrics by Glenn Dlater (Sister Act/ School of Rock). The show is written by the film’s original screenwriter Amy Heckerling. It is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, with choreography by Kelly Devine.
Clueless is based on the 1995 film, which is turn was based on Jane Austen’s Emma. It follows the story of Cher, a popular and wealthy high school student in Beverly Hills who then tries to play cupid amongst her classmates.
Alongside Emma Flynn, the cast of Clueless The Musical also stars Keelan McAuley as Josh. Moreover, the cast includes Chyna-Rose Frederick as Dionne, Romona Lewis-Malley as Tai, Isaac J Lewis as Christian, Rabi Kondé as Murray, Blake Jordan as Travis, Max Mirza as Elton, Ryan O’Donnell as Mel, Mr Hall & Driving Instructor, Emily Florence as Amber, and Imelda Warren-Green as Miss G, Ms S, Lucy & Heather.
Furthermore the full company is completed by Sophie Elmes, Jacob Fisher, Aoife Kenny, Josh Latunji, James Lim, Ernest Stroud and Grace Eleanor Thomas. In addition th swings are Dylan Gordon-Jones, Lucas Lluna, Lucy Rice and Rachel Seirian.
