6 West End Shows are Extending and they were all announced this week! Here’s the run down of all the shows that are extending and when you can catch them until.

Oh, Mary!

Catherine Tate Oh Mary

The first West End Show which announced it will be extending is Oh, Mary! The show is now booking until 18th July 2026. What’s more, they have two new cast members joining the company to see the production through to its extension. The lead role of Mary Lincoln is being taken over by none other than Catherine Tate! Oh, Mary! is an absurd comedy play about Mary Lincoln, wife to Abe Lincoln. With a raging alcohol problem, Mary dreams of becoming a Cabaret performer. The show came to the West End following a successful run on Broadway. It runs for an hour and a half with no interval.

Oh, Mary! is now booking until 18th July 2026 at the Trafalgar Theatre.

Titanique
The Criterion Theatre

Titanique - West End Shows Extending

Titanique is now playing until 30th August 2026 at The Criterion Theatre. Another one act show on the West End, this musical is a reimagining of that fateful night on board the Titanic. This musical is a parody on the hit film where Celine Dion tells the audience what really happened that night. Naturally the musical features some of Celine Dion’s greatest hits including “All By Myself”, “My Heart Will Go On” and “To Love You More”. This comedy is created by Drag Races’ Ty Blue which has created a topical comedy full of fun pop culture references.

Also, comedian Tom Allen is hopping on board with this production soon! He is playing Ruther from 4th March until 12th April (excluding 24th March and 3rd to 5th April). Following that, the current Ruth Carl Mullaney is returning to the role.

West End Shows Extending until 13th March 2027:

Oliver!

Oliver - West End Shows Extending

Now booking until 13th March 2027, this revival of Oliver! has taken London by storm! The new direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne is proving very successful for this beloved show. Tickets for this extension go on sale on Thursday 12th March at 11am.

The classic musical by Lionel Bart follows a young orphan boy named Oliver Twist in Victorian England. Oliver escapes a workhouse and befriends a gang of pick-pockets as he tries to survive. It is based on the Charles Dickens novel of the same name. Oliver! has some of musicals most iconic songs including “Food Glorious Food”, “Consider Yourself” and “As Long As He Needs Me”.

Secure great seats now for Oliver! which is now playing at The Gielgud Theatre until 13th March 2027.

Phantom of the Opera
His Majesty’s Theatre

Phantom Of the Opera Extends into 2027

Andrew Lloyd Webbers most famous musical is extending its run in the West End as it prepares for its 40th anniversary. This musical is also based on a classic novel about a man who lives in the Paris Opera House. He is a great composer and falls in love with his protégé, Christine Daae. The musical is welcoming a new Christine Daae from 2nd March when Beatrice Penny-Toure takes over the role.

This iconic musical with such a beautiful score has won over 70 major theatre awards and played in 35 cities over the world. Tickets for this extension go on sale on Tuesday 10th March at 10am.

The Phantom of the Opera is now playing until 13th March 2027 at His Majesty’s Theatre.

Les Misérables

Cameron Mackintosh confirmed today that Les Misérables is extending until 13th March 2027.

The shows welcomed many new faced this month including Lucie Jones. Jones is playing the role of Fantine until 11th April. This wildly successful musical, also based on a novel, recently celebrated its 40th Anniversary in the West End.

The show tells the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his desire for redemption. Having been released in 1815 after serving nineteen years in jail for stealing a loaf of bread, Valjean decides to start a new life but a police inspector named Javert refuses to let him escape justice. Alongside this, a group of young idealists attempts to overthrow the government at a street barricade in Paris.

Seen by over 130 million people worldwide in 53 countries and in 22 languages, Les Misérables is full of beautiful music and heart-breaking story lines. It’s no wonder it has been running for so many years.

Tickets for this extension go on sale on 5th March.

Hamilton

Hamilton Tickets

Lastly, Hamilton is also extending until 13th March 2027. The hit musical written by Lin Manuel Miranda is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of American Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton.

The musical is told almost entirely through song and rap which reimagined the Musical Theatre landscape as we knew it when it opened. Today, the show also announced they will have their first every Relaxed performance. This is going to take place on 29th April at the earlier time of 6.30pm. At like performance there will be subtle changes to sound and lighting to make the show more accessible.

Hamilton is now booking until 13th March 2027 at The Victoria Palace Theatre.
