The Menier Chocolate Factory’s revival of The Producers has just announced a West End transfer. The musical will open at London’s Garrick Theatre later on this year.

Directed by Tony award winner Patrick Marber, the production ended its sold-out tun on 1 March 2025. It received outstanding reviews from both audiences and critics alike.

The Producers tells the story of two producers attempting to win big by staging the worst musical they could imagine – only for it to turn into an unexpected hit.

The West End cast will include Andy Nyman (Hello, Dolly!) and Marc Antolin (I Wish You Well) as Bialystock and Bloom. Alongside them will be Joanna Woodward (The Time Traveller’s Wife) as Ulla, with Trevor Ashley (Les Misérables) as Roger de Bris. Furthermore the cast will include Harry Morrison (Come From Away) as Franz Liebkind, and Raj Ghatak (Life of Pi) as Carmen Ghia. Further casting for the West End transfer will be announced at a later date.

The Producers will run at the Garrick Theatre from 30 August 2025 and is booking until 21 February 2026.

Much Ado About Nothing starring Hayley Atwell and Tom Hiddleston is currently playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Jamie Lloyd’s brand new production of the Shakespeare classic opened earlier this month and is receiving rave reviews.

The highly anticipated revival is getting an abundance of 5 star reviews from critics and audiences alike. The funny and clever play is a battle of wits. It is running for a strictly limited 8-week season in London.

It is directed by Olivier Award winner Jamie Lloyd (Sunset Boulevard, Romeo & Juliet and most recently The Tempest also at Drury Lane). Much Ado About Nothing stars Marvel stars Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell as Benedict and Beatrice.

Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama Witness for the Prosecution continues to grip audiences at London County Hall. The immersive production has just extended booking to April 2026 and announces a brand new cast.

The play has been running in London for 8 years and still manages to keep audiences on the edge of their seat with its twists and turns.

The new cast will star Harry Chandler (Les Misérables) as Leonard vole, along with Charlotte Beaumont (Broadchurch) as Romaine Vole. Johnathan Firth will return as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, alongside Nigel Hastings as Mr Mayhew. Jeffery Kissoon will once again take on the role of Justice Wainwright. David Birrell stars as Mr Myers QC.

The company completed by Charles Angiama, Caroline Gruber, Matthew Hebden, Phoenix Henries, Harrison Hirst, Gillian McCafferty, Sky Bailey McGill, Anna Rawlings, Jack Spencer, Dale Superville, Paulo Vieira, and Christopher Wright.

Clueless The Musical opens at the Trafalgar Theatre on 15 February and is currently booking to 14 June 2025.

The musical features a musical score by award-winning singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, with lyrics by Glenn Dlater (Sister Act/ School of Rock). The show is written by the film’s original screenwriter Amy Heckerling. It is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, with choreography by Kelly Devine.

Clueless is based on the 1995 film, which is turn was based on Jane Austen’s Emma. It follows the story of Cher, a popular and wealthy high school student in Beverly Hills who then tries to play cupid amongst her classmates.

The popular West End musical Hadestown has announced a new cast that will join the show later this year. The cast will join the show from 11 March 2025.

The Hadestown west end cast will star Desmonda Cathabel (Disney’s Aladdin) as Eurydice; Olivier Award-nominee Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella) as Persephone; Chris Jarman (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Hades; Cedric Neal (Guys & Dolls)as Hermes; and Dylan Wood returns as Orpheus.

Further casting includes Melanie Bright and Lauran Rae joining Allie Daniel as the Fates; Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham, Laura Delany and Sebastian Lim-Seet as the Workers; and Lucinda Buckley, Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lindo Shinda and Jasmine Triadi as Swings.

This also comes with the announcement that the show will be filmed to produce a Hadestown Live film. The show will be filmed for 3 performances between 28 February and 1 March 2025.

The West End production also announced that the original Broadway leads will be joining the London cast from 11 February to 9 March 2025. This includes Reeve Carney as Orpheus, André De Shields as Hermes, Amber Gray as Persephone, Eva Noblezada as Eurydice and Patrick Page as Hades.

Hadestown tells the tale of two intertwined love stories. One of the young couple Orpheus and Eurydice and the other of King Hades and his wife Persephone. This combined with a blend of American folk music and jazz creates the acclaimed musical.

The hit new West End musical The Devil Wears Prada has just announced it is extending at the Dominion Theatre. The show is now booking all the way into 2026.

The new musical first opened in London in December 2024 and has proved very popular with audiences. Tickets sales have been very high and don’t look to be slowing down any time soon.

The Devil Wears Prada is based on the 2006 film starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, and the bestselling book by Lauren Weisberger.

The current cast includes Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives) as Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep in the film. Alongside Williams is Matt Henry (Kinky Boots, The Drifters Girl) as Nigel, played by Stanley Tucci in the film. Then Georgie Buckland (Shrek the Musical) plays Andy, played Anne Hathaway in the movie. Additionally it stars Amy Di Bartolomeo (Six The Musical, We Will Rock You) plays the part of Emily, played in the film by Emily Blunt.

The Almeida’s acclaimed production of The Years has just transferred to the West End. The play opened at the Harold Pinter Theatre this week and is running until 19 April.

The Years is based on Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux’s novel Les Années, and adapted and directed by Eline Arbo.
