42nd STREET opens at Saddler’s Wells
The award-winning production 42nd Street is opening on the 7th June at Saddler’s Wells. Including all of the toe-tapping tunes that you know and love from the classic music such as ‘We’re in The Money’, ‘Lullaby of Broadway’, ‘Shuffle Off to Buffalo’, ‘I Only Have Eyes for You’ and of course the title song.
The musical follows the story of Peggy Sawyer, a young woman who leaves her small town to pursue her dreams of stardom on Broadway. When she meets a big director and lands a place in the chorus of a new show the leading lady is injured and Peggy has to step in. Can she make her dreams of becoming a Broadway star a reality?
The star-studded cast includes Olivier Award-winning actor and West End legend Ruthie Henshall as Dorothy Brock with Australian star of TV, film and stage Adam Garcia as Julian Marsh. They are joined by TV personality Les Dennis as Bert Barry and Nicole-Lily Baisden as Peggy Sawyer.
Directed by Singin’ in the Rain’s Jonathan Church this timeless fairytale is set to dazzle audiences with its classic romance, perfect wit and of course those dance moves.

Nicole Scherzinger to star in SUNSET BOULEVARD
Pop sensation and theatre star Nicole Scherzinger will star as Norma Desmond in a new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic SUNSET BOULEVARD. With book and music by Don Black and Christopher Hampton and based on the film by Billy Wilder, this new interpretation is set to wow audiences.
The show will run for a strictly limited 16-week run at the Savoy Theatre in London and this production will mark the first production presented by Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals, the new joint venture by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Michael Harrison.
The show will feature the iconic songs including ‘With One Look’, ‘As If We Never Said Goodbye’, ‘The Perfect Year’ and the title song and this new reimagined version will be directed by the revolutionary Jamie Lloyd.
Tickets will go on sale soon for SUNSET BOULEVARD, performances begin on the 18th September 2023 and will run until the 6th January 2024.
