The Devil Wears Prada Musicals

One of the most popular rom-coms of all time is coming to London as a brand-new musical! Based on the blockbuster film and best-selling novel, the musical adaptation is heading to the West End later next year, and Theatre tickets are in high demand!

Based on the book by Lauren Weisberger that was released in 2003, the film was released in 2006 and starred Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. The Devil Wears Prada follows the story of young journalist Andy (Hathaway) who takes a job at a fashion magazine run by the notorious Miranda Priestly (Streep). Andy is then forced to give up her personal life to impress Miranda and live up to her ridiculously high standards. She is swept up in the glitz and glamour and questions if success is worth sacrificing your principles.

The musical is set to feature music from the iconic Elton John (Billy Elliot the Musical, The Lion King), and direction & choreography by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Pretty Woman). It will feature lyrics by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub, book by Kate Wetherhead, set design by Tim Hatley, lighting design by Bruno Poet, costume design by Gregg Barnes, and sound design by Gareth Owen.

The show will open at the Dominion Theatre from 24th October 2024, so keep an eye out for more announcements, especially regarding ticket availability! Casting and further details are yet to be revealed.
