This new British musical is brought to life on stage with original songs from Grammy Award winners Joss Stone and Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics. Adapted by multi-award-winning playwright Lauren Gunderson and directed by Bill Buckhurst.

The Ocean

The National Theatre’s smash-hit production of The Ocean At The End Of The Lane is returning to the West End next month for a strictly limited run. 

The play follows the story of a young man who returns to his childhood home and re-discovers the pond of an old Sussex farmhouse where he used to play as a child. He is then accidentally plunged into a magical world and brings an evil entity from another reality into this world. With the help of his childhood friend Lettie he Is forced to protect this world from ancient forces that threaten to destroy everything.

From the imagination of Neil Gaiman (Best-selling author of Good Omens, Coraline and The Sandman and adapted by Joel Horwood, The Ocean At The End Of The Lane takes audiences on an epic journey to a childhood they once forgot.

Kristen Scott Thomas and Lily James are set to star in Penelope Skinner’s new comedy play Lyonesse

The play follows the story of the talented yet reclusive actress Elaine (Kristen Scott Thomas) who disappeared in mysterious circumstances. Now, 30 years later she is finally ready to tell her story and calls upon Kate, a young film executive (Lily James) to her remote home in Cornwall to her help her make her big comeback.

Directed by Ian Rickson, this searingly funny and passionate play asks the question, do we control the stories we tell and can we own our own narrative or could it be taken out of our hands at any given moment?
