Direct from Broadway the award-winning musical MJ the Musical is coming to London next month.

Created by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and Tony Award®-winning director/choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, MJ the Musical delivers a theatrical experience like no other. The musical includes a huge selection of the Prince of pop’s most iconic songs including Billie Jean, Beat It, Man in the Mirror, Thriller and Smooth Criminal.

British icon Sheridan Smith is set to star in the dazzling new production of the new musical Opening NightThe show will open at the Gielgud Theatre next month and tickets are on sale now.

Opening Night is a brand new musical based on the 1977 film of the same name that was written and directed by John Cassavetes. The psychological horror film tells the story of an alcoholic stage actress who witnesses the accidental death of one of her fans. She is then haunted by the ghost of the deceased woman, which leads her to a nervous breakdown right before the premiere of her next Broadway play.

The full cast for the show has been announced and stars Sheridan Smith as Myrtle Gordon, Hadley Fraser as Manny Victor, Shira Haas as Nancy Stein, Amy Lennox as Dorothee Victor, Nicola Hughes as Sarah Goode and John Marquez as David Samuels.

With a book by Ivo Van Hove (A Little Life) and music and lyrics by songwriter Rufus Wainwright, this new musical is set to be a huge hit.

Harry Clarke (Opens 9th March)

Following sell-out runs in New York and Berkeley Harry Clarke is transferring to the West End next month. Starring Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor Billy Crudup, David Cale’s wickedly funny thriller opens at the Ambassador’s Theatre in March.

The show is 80 minutes long and Billy Crudup will play 19 different characters in this ‘masterclass’ in acting.

Harry Clarke has a secret. Well, Philip Brugglesteinhas a secret – but people only have eyes for seductive Londoner Harry… Conjuring comparisons to The Talented Mr. Ripley and Saltburn with a touch of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Harry Clarke keeps audiences guessing – charting the exploits of an awkward Midwestern man who moves to New York City to charm his way into a wealthy family.

Sister Act (Opens 15th March)

Olivier Award-winner and Soul sensation Beverley Knight will reprise her role as disco diva-in-disguise Deloris van Cartier in Sister Act, opening in March at the Dominion Theatre.

Starring alongside Knight as Mother Superior is star and co-creator of Gavin and Stacey Ruth Jones. Also reprising their roles are television and stage star Lesley Joseph, Hackney royalty and Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe, and West End favourite Lizzie Bea. Completing the congregation are BRIT Award-winning singer songwriter Lemar, Britain’s Got Talent and musical theatre star Alison Jiear and star of Regent Park’s La Cage aux Folles Carl Mullaney.

Sister Act is based on the beloved film and features a marvellous Motown-inspired score by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken. Sister Act follows the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco singer whose life turns upside down when she witnesses a murder. She is then placed in the witness protection program and is given a new identity… as a nun! Under the watchful eye of Mother Superior, Deloris finds a unique bond with her fellow nuns through the power of music, helping them to discover their voices and find her own in the process.

This uplifting story of music, mishaps and nuns on the run is a joyous and fun night out for all.

Long Days Journey Into Night (Opens 19th March)

Long Day’s Journey into Night is often thought of as one of the greatest American plays of the 20th century and it opens in London next month!

Eugene O’Neill’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play is set to star Emmy and Golden Globe winning actors Brian Cox and Patricia Clarkson. They are joined by Anthony Boyle, Daryl McCormack and Louisa Harland.

Long Day’s Journey Into Night tickets are available now.

The follows the story of the Tyrone family one summer say and is based on the writer’s own dysfunctional family. Long Day’s Journey Into Night is a tale of love, hate, family, betrayal and addiction. With beautifully created characters, this deeply moving play is a theatrical event not to be missed.
