Wicked Extends Until 2025
Wicked has been running in the West End for nearly 18 years, making it the 11th longest-running show in West End history. The show first opened in 2006 and has remained a fan favorite to this day. The show has just announced that it will be extending its West End run once again through to June 2025.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire and the characters from L Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the story of an unlikely friendship. Wicked follows the story of Elphaba and Glinda, who would go on to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Wicked features some of the most well-known songs in musical theatre history including ‘Popular’, ‘For Good’, ‘The Wizard and I’, ‘One Short Day’ and of course the iconic ‘Defying Gravity’.
Some of the current West End cast will be changing this month. Leaving the company are Mark Curry (the Wizard), Steven Pinder (Doctor Dillamond), and Amy Webb (Standby for Elphaba). Also leaving are ensemble members Yuki Abe, Kofi Aidoo-Appiah, Fergus Dale, Nicol Espallardo, Danny Fogarty, Ross Harmon, Harry Mill, Daniel Parrott, and Jaydon Vijn.
From 12 March, Michael Fenton Stevens will take over as the Wizard, Graham Kent as Doctor Dillamond, and Laura Harrison will return as the standby for Elphaba.
Continuing their roles are Alexia Khadime as Elphaba, Lucy St. Louis as Glinda, Ryan Reid as Fiyero, Sophie-Louise Dann as Madame Morrible, Caitlin Anderson as Nessarose, Joe Thompson-Oubari as Boq, and Christine Tucker as the standby for Glinda (maternity cover for Lisa-Anne Wood).
The rest of the cast includes Conor Ashman, Jessica Aubrey, Jeremy Batt, Felipe Bejarano, Asmara Cammock, Joshua Clemetson, Effie Rae Dyson, Aimee Hodnett, Kate Leiper, Jemima Loddy, Joshua Lovell, Rory Maguire, Paddy Joe Martin, Darnell Mathew-James, Millie Mayhew, Ayden Morgan, Rishard-Kyro Nelson, Aston Neman Hannington, Aiesha Naomi Pease, Jeanie Ryan, Natalie Spriggs, Charlotte Anne Steen, James Titchener, Micaela Todd, Taela Yeomans-Brown, and Jacob Young.
Wicked is also currently embarking on its 3rd UK tour. The West End show has also released over 400,000 new tickets as it has extended booking until 1st June 2025.

MJ Extends Until December
MJ the Musical has also extended its West End run after only being open for one day!
The show opened at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6 March and has a press night scheduled for 27 March.
MJ the Musical offers a rare insight into the creative and collaborative spirit that catapulted Michael Jackson to his legendary status. The musical takes place in the rehearsal rooms of the 1992 Dangerous World Tour and features all of the iconic hits that made the tour one of the best of all time.
MJ includes seom of the Prince of Pop’s greatest hits such as ‘Beat It’, ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Thriller’, and ‘Smooth Criminal’, this musical is perfect for any Michael Jackson fan out there.
MJ stars Tony Award-winner Myles Frost who reprises his role after appearing in the show on Broadway. Also starring alongside Frost are Ashley Zhangazha as Joseph Jackson / Rob, Mitchell Zhangazha as Michael, Philippa Stefani as Rachel, Phebe Edwards as Katherine Jackson / Kate, Matt Mills as Berry Gordy / Nick, Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton as Tito Jackson / Quincy Jones, Matt Gonsalves as Alejandro, Jon Tsouras as Dave, Kieran Alleyne as MJ alternate and standby for Michael, Kwamé Kandekore as the standby for MJ and Michael.
The MJ cast is completed by Derek Aidoo, Morgan Baulch, Milan Cacacie, Spencer Darlaston-Jones, Hanna Dimtsu, Aden Dzuda, Marie Finlayson, Christopher Gopaul, Kalisha Johnson, Grace Kanyamibwa, Travis Kerry, Dianté Lodge, Simeon Montague, George Ross, Lydia Sterling, Toyan Thomas-Browne, Taylor Walker, Charlotte-Kate Warren and Tavio Wright.
