A brand new drama by stage and TV writer Mike Bartlett is coming to the West End next Year. Unicorn will open at the Garrick Theatre and will play from 4 February to 26 April 2025.
The new play is set to star Nicola Walker (Spooks, A View From the Bridge in the West End) as Polly and Stephen Mangan (A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic) as Nick. They will be joined by Erin Doherty (Death of England in the West End, Princess Anne in The Crown) as Kate.
Unicorn follows happily married couple Nick and Polly, they have two children and successful careers. They seem to have it all. There is however something missing. Their world is turned tilts when their lives intersect with the enigmatic Kate and new desires awaken. The explicit, funny, and provocative play delves into the tangled web of modern relationships.
Writer Mike Bartlett’s previous work includes award-winning stage dramas such as King Charles III and Cock. He has also worked on acclaimed TV dramas such as Doctor Foster and Life.
Directed by James Macdonald (Waiting For Godot), Unicorn is running at the Garrick Theatre from 4 February to 26 April 2025. Keep an eye out for further announcements here on the LSBO website.
