The Almeida’s acclaimed production of The Years has just transferred to the West End. The play opened at the Harold Pinter Theatre this week and is running until 19 April.
The Years is based on Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux’s novel Les Années, and adapted and directed by Eline Arbo.

The Years cast includes Debroash Findlay. Romola Garai, Gina McKee, Anjili Mohindra, and Harmony Rose-Bremner. Garai is starring in the show until 8 March and then further casting will be announced.
The understudies are Shira Abkin, Holly Georgia, Pamela Hardman, Adrien Spencer, and Sarah Waddell.

The Years features five different actors who bring one woman’s personal and political story to life, set in post-war Europe.
This production follow’s the plays previous run at the Almeida Theatre. During this run the play received a huge amount of give star reviews, from the Independent, Financial Times, The Stage and the Guardian.
